All my life I have had a one sided love affair
With a man for whom I truly did care,
But for he and I it was just not meant to be

Doubt if our paths would have ever crossed
But my heart to him I totally lost,
To me he was the epitome of all men
Tall dark and handsome and stood out among men.
He died before I really knew of him at all
But when I saw him I couldn`t help but fall,
Hopelessly head over heels in love I fell
And in my heart he just had to dwell.
I sorely regret that we never met
`Cause into his heart I had planned to get,
We would have gone on a romantic date
But it wasn`t to be `cause `I was born too late`.
