En Este Momento
Wanting becomes second nature and
today it is no less
Pressed is the soul that is me
and answers to my petitions gather dust
Yet I blow away at it to clear my mind
to stay focused on whats at stake
careful not to extinguish the candle
that lights the way
Fear has become a neighbor sharing space
in my heart, having never payed rent
for it's dwelling
In this moment is where I am able to ponder
much deeper, love that I am blessed
to have and keep hold of
She means the world to me and so I write
another day to let her know, for her eyes to feed
of me if just in words
There is no other nor will there ever be one
like her
