Value Purity
Because of the Lord Jesus Christ,
I ask and encourage you;
See what can be sacrificed,
And be pleasing to God too.
Even more now than ever,
In doing as we were taught;
What worldly things to sever,
From the lust that you have sought.
His will does keep you away,
From sexual sin as a mark;
When you honor and obey,
Wherever you may embark.
Finding a husband or wife,
Must be holy and righteous;
Rather than a lustful life,
That can end up pretentious.
No one should take advantage,
Exploiting a believer;
The sin they are in bondage;
Is merely a deceiver.
God punishes for these things,
With stealing one of His sheep;
Providing torment it brings,
Pain in their eternal sleep.
