Golden teardrops flow from the Eye of Ra
Falling on the shattered gift has he laid
Beneath this scorching yellow star
He has cradled the waking beasts
Below seven folded wings
To sooth their murky minds of fear
But to the far corners
He has cast his eagle eye
And within the Spheric protoplast
Has scratched out the twisted lines of form
Seven shells to crack
Before his stoic face
Seven truths to know
Beneath his amber eye
Yet his graces billow in
The soft summer winds
And his love prevails
With the redeeming warmth
Of a joyful sun
As the ageless monuments forever watch
The passing of the days,
They will see him in all things –
Because he has shown them those things
And as we try to remember
He'll ride his golden chariot across the cyan sky
While The Gods of Time do solemnly bow
To that which has spawned them
And pay homage to the boundless fountain of fire
From whence all things spring eternal
