Cliff Poems

Smeared Lightning

There was a smile look from a hopeful business store owner,
full of polite convenience, that I may come in and buy something.
Soaking, I purchased a yellow polka dot umbrella for two equivalent dollars,
and, covered, walked back into dark lightning,
following the way of top bunk backpacker friend hostel,
  living to write about it.

Then, alas, climbed, collapsed,
to four hours airplane sleep,
content and happy tired
after a good Korean stay.
