Of love stories that have come and gone
This one, no fairy tale of how two bond
Where sunrise brings a brand new day
and love has come now, here to stay
There's reason to hold on to our dreams
Many a night alone it seemed
We'd live our life that would become
Our darkest hours without someone
Someone to love and share our thoughts
Our better half for years we sought
Then they arrive to win the days
That soon would follow alone, they slayed
It fills the cup empty in heart
Now life begins anew to start
To plan future events to follow
No longer lost in heartbreak wallow
We dream again of breaths not taken
When time once felt love had forsaken
Our hearts that truly gave their all
But no answers or heard were calls
But not today for the time has come
To hold to now of what's become
A better you and they who knew
This time would come for both of you
This is a story birthed of two poets
Who knew and know of GOD who sowed it
That one day soon will be too read
By many here upon site tread
Hold to your dreams for there are reasons
As Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter seasons
Will come each year and too will go
As years become silver, though not old
