to play a game is simple
to win one is a frame of mind
to wonder is human nature
to experience is Divine
when life seems at sonic speed
and angels do not dream
ill sit beneath that old tree
gazing at the stars
picking through the constellation's
a small smile may appear at a moment past
a tear may fall at a tragedy last
the silence brings peace to mind
my thought free to roam far from my desolate home
if life were simple would it be worth it
the enemies Ive made and the friends Ive gained
questions abound and life moves on
my thirst for knowledge never satisfied
my dreams almost seem to large to ever have
i am who i am that's all i can say
if not for life where would i be today
its time for slumber to come to me
peace for mind and heart that's where i want to be today
