Just one wish...
If you had just one wish
One that would actually come true
What do you think you'd wish for?
Would you know just what to do?
Would you wish for world peace
Would you wish for true love
Would you wish you had wings
So you could fly far above
Would you wish to see the future
Would you wish to fix the past
Would you wish to say those words
To one who left this life too fast
Would you wish for lots of money
Would you wish for strength or power
Would you wish to control time
Just for a day or for an hour
Would you wish for mere perfection
Would you wish you were a star
Would you wish for none of the above
But for something more bizarre
If I had just one wish
I'd know just what I'd do…
If I had just one wish
I'd give my wish to you
Because it's you that deserves
All your dreams to come true
If I had just one wish
I'd know just what to do
I'd seal that wish with love
And give my wish to you...
