scratch off my soul was scratched off from lineolium burnted and dusted nevermore to come back for you and me my newfound friend we drinketh from the same waters a sheer delite heavy footfalls arrive at my door church bells chime and ryhme and robbeth the poor forever young The waters doth offer screaming in vain tossed in the rafters it's what our life is mostly after one more pleasure and one more toss forget about tomorrow for tomorrow is lost the sunshine the clouds in the sky the young lovers with a teardrop in their eyes we just wanna be there why not give it a try doesn't make much sense and I don't know why.. later my newfound friend perhaps we'll meet someday..and drink a toast..to long life.. and handsome maidens.. rose cheeked lasses.. and all the years that passes.. goodbye.. by Rick Weber October 11, 2010 copywritten Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
