When you smile the whole world smiles
with you
It can begin a friendship that will
forever be true,
A handclasp can lift a soul to bring it
out of despair
Encouraging it to understand it is possible
to repair.

A star can guide a ship at sea bringing
it to shore
And shine upon land quelling darkness
ever more,
A candle wipes out darkness with its
tiniest light
While a group of candles lights a room
with might.

Hearing a certain song brings memories
to mind
Singing it in your heart sparks a moment
in time,
A bird high in a tree sends a love call
to bring
For he must find a mate to build a nest
in the Spring.

If you listen closely in the stillness
of a twilight night
You'll hear nightingales sing lullabies
in flight,
Peace overcomes a lost soul in a star
studded sky above
As Guardian Angels decend from heaven
to guide us with love.

When we start each step of a journey
in prayer
Wisdom on the perils of dangers
becomes aware,
Hope will raise spirits when gloom
starts to descend
Love can conquer all nations
if we willingly comprehend.
