The Comforting Lord
Do not be afraid,
For the Lord reclaims;
Because He has paid,
For all of your shames.
He calls you by name,
You belong to Him;
So start to proclaim,
And stop feeling grim.
So you need not fear,
Since He paid the fee;
And always is near,
Even if you not see.
When waters run swift,
They will not sweep you;
The Lord will up lift,
Staying in His view.
Walk through a fire,
You will not be burned;
For His desire,
Protect what He earned.
So no need to fear,
For He is with you;
Since He loves you dear,
Be faithful and true.
