The Knock of Opportunity

standing here..

I got your feelings going
so why all the mourning
make way for the eternal sacrifice
the truth will come upon you
Before the sunshine reveals the scourging
Dragged through the streets
Crying you see the sin
Make room for the elbow room
Just standing here..
While you moan and wail
and keep on with your sinning
Snakes purged out of the hideous
Your wishes came true
The difference is in the father
and the son
the feeling of ashes and sackcloth
Made real cause that's the way I feel
Fire on my skin corpses who linger
Memories that suffer
and dynasties that have crumbled
have left hollowed
the ground..
of innumerous indecisive
sweet solitude..
this bird has flown..
