Crashintome
Corrupt Me, Never
I ain't here to read your fortune
at the banks of the Blackstone River
Corrupt me to believe the stream strolls south
and opens at the mouth of perdition
I will never untangle your leap into the clotheslines
that share the tenements next to you
The shadowing hallow areas that make your face
My fists clench stronger, longer
Tougher than the mind that let you down
so ghetto-fabulously on our judgment days
in the first solstice of chapter two
Corrupt me, never
as I cannot find your clean in the midst of the filthy,
soiled, sneakers walking me to the boulevard of forgiveness
that I've paved for you
