A Joy Forever
how beautiful are the feet,
Of a messenger who has a seat;
On a mountain with such great views,
As he announces the Good News.
O what a joyous occasion,
As he announces salvation;
And that the Lord rules as the King,
So go celebrate as we sing.
The watchman raises up his voice,
Shouting joyfully to rejoice;
As he is seeing with his eyes,
Through all the deceit and the lies.
For Satan tried to make him blind,
Putting notions within his mind;
And was merely trying to scare,
That God no longer did He care.
But that was far from being true,
For God so loves both me and you;
That He gave His begotten Son,
To die as the Anointed One.
Unknown of the exact hour,
Of showing His Holy Power;
But the salvation of the Lord,
It cannot ever be ignored.
