Faded are the echoes of summer's laughter.
The days are shorter.
Leaves have fallen on the lawn.
Sun rises, later dawn.
Time changes, we move on.
The day spent raking up leaves.
Acorns, so many, fall from oak trees.
Winds sway, a star burst of colors in the blue skies.
Aged like a bottle of a fine red wine.
Evergreens stand in a straight line.
Crisp cold air warmed by the sunshine.
The feel of winter is on our toes.
Take the time, reflect.
Learn from our regret.
Long is the winter nights.
Be there in my dreamy delights.
Fall down to lay with me.
Take it slow see what can be.
