YOU FILLED MY EMPTINESS

When I was young, I was every child's leader at play,
They never argued and often followed the rules of the game;
I was jolly and attentive, full of guts and with a style,
But fate intervened to isolate myself from bunch of kids.

Love struck several times but it's always taboo in this society,
So far, I managed to hide the affair not permitted by some;
I wasn't willing to take any risks when it comes to self-revelation,
And it gave me the pain leaving an extreme void in the inside.

Then I found you and from the beginning I became very sure of,
That you are the real love of my life, the only one for me, hon;
I am ever ready to tell onlookers you are unique, beyond compare,
How you have changed everything filling the emptiness within me.

You never knew how your existence transformed my world, babes,
Your acceptance of me restored my confidence and enthusiasm;
You are one God's creation that I can't last a day without,
That I will always love you more each day even after waters run dry.
