In Light of Things
She holds the candles glow upon my
hungry heart, warmth mine
Darkness becomes the past and her presence
keeps the light on in and about us
Grateful we are to have been blessed and if
I should write one more, she was my inspiration
and forever will be
Intentions are real here, sentiment is no less
a priority, she is job one, we shall work hard
to keep us this way
No obsessions here!
Nothing but love and all for her!
Complimenting is her nature and she wears hers
as I do, in plain view
She is illuminating and her light is as my
night light, in light of all things me,
all things her
and if I were to search the entire universe
I'd not find another like her
