The Presence
As I walked
Through the shadows
Of mine own
And felt
The Presence
My glassy eyes
Searched through the touches
Of mystery and dimensions
And while stopping
To view
There within
The mind
As I entered
The windows
And saw
Through the eyes
An explosion
Confusion not of mine own
The rush
Incorporating me
As I absorbed
The impact
Feeling
The Presence
I choose to
Become
The dimension
Of my very thoughts
Unafraid, willing
To accept
The Presence
Unaccustomed
To my thoughts
The fear tried
To control me
And as I closed
My eyes
The Light
Entered my
Soul
And I was protected
For
I had entered
The unknown
