Forever Fireworks
Upon waking this day will bring
Another reason to place the ring
That no one placed upon the finger
Of her they loved where love not lingered
A treasure theirs who bore them sons
A masterpiece painted by one
Who made her so to be held to
Forevermore she thought they knew
Unlike them who saw nothing
Of worth I'd come and see something
Precious and soft to hold aloft
To spin around in arms mine sought
The best of me who holds dearly
To her special my heart sincerely
Sparks anew with fireworks
Today light my skies with eyes hers Blue
Another chapter speaks today
Volumes of her wished for and prayed
For many years but not no more
Explode we do of her adored
Who would have thought at my ripe age
She'd come to bring and set the stage
The stage of life we're both now in
That now is ours that should have been
Light we will and once again
The skies I'll soar with my Godsend
Where love has come to stay this time
Forever fireworks, for she is mine
