Poetry that thinks out loud
LIFE IS NOT TOMORROW
When a life is lost you realize how short that life can be
And all the things you thought you saw you now no longer see.
It makes you think about this life and where your future lies
For clouds they do not hang around, but move in daily skies.
All the plans that you had made have changed just like the wind;
The future that you had laid out had just as well be binned.
This life is not tomorrow you are living life today
And the life that you had planned has all, but blown away.
You can plan for tomorrow, but be thankful you're alive;
Show the world the love you have and all around will thrive.
The people that are close to you they need to know you care;
So in a life that is so short it's love we need to share.
