THOSE MEMORIES YOU LEFT BEHIND
Those memories you left behind are what we can't forget
Within this world you left us in you never felt regret.
Each day you lived; the more you found: that all you had was right;
From mornings rise to setting sun to kissing us goodnight.
Those memories you left behind are what made us this way
You touched our hearts and showed us love, each and every day.
The times we had and fun we shared brings smiles to my face
And though you are not here no more my heart has saved a place.
Those memories you left behind are what define you now
For when I re-live memories I feel you close somehow.
And every time that I feel down my heart will look for you
Knowing that you showed us love and that your heart was true.
