Sincere Wishes
The deepest part of me today
Will wish upon on her birthday
All she's ever dreamed to date
Shall come to be upon her plate
Her book of writes she births each day
Photographs in eyes hers played
That only she can feel and see
Maybe a part that includes me
She celebrates this day and I
Along with others who know of sighs
Can only know the heart she bares
Sincere wishes her heart does wear
A birthday cake maybe will do
A slice of it, maybe just two
Will be her fill of things for now
But one day soon, I hope somehow
To live, to laugh, to love again
To breathe these things and to no end
To look in eyes that too were longing
As much as mine where she belongs in
Of candles blown out by the wind
By breath all hers for her to win
All her soul has long searched for
The years still left to more adore
To walk old streets of cobblestone
In hand or arms, never alone
These are but few of sincere wishes
We wish for her with soft blown kisses
and before leaving her home
I'll wish much more, where once alone
Two hearts came to beat as one
That longed to be that one someone
