What A Pain
There's pain in my ankles
and pain in my toes,
the pain in my feet
reaches up to my nose.
My ears cannot handle
the sounds of my pain,
nor the ache in my head
that comes with the rain.
The pain in my fingers
has spread to my wrist,
it took hold of my hand
now I can't make a fist.
My stiff and sore body
has faced painful attack,
what was in my arms
has gone to my back.
My stomach just takes it
and my legs feel it still,
my pain might go away
if I took a pain pill.
