Poetry For Everyday People

Good Ol' Red, Good Ol' Blue

Good Ol' Blue:
Much on a ice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon Red?

Good Ol' Red:
Yes sir,
how 'bout a pinch of Red Man Golden Blend?

Good Ol' Blue:
I'm with you,

Good Ol' Red:
Seems like a fire would be mighty in order boy,

Good Ol' Blue:
Easy as pie on a windowsill son,

Good Ol' Red:
Let me grab yesterdays paper,

Good Ol' Blue:
Let me help Red,

Good Ol' Red:
Man Blue, the large mouth were hitting hard this morning,
all on top water lures too, grab that pile there boy,
               that's good aged pine,

Good Ol' Blue:
They sure have been, hittin' them top water lures Red,
right early in the morning and just right before the sun makes
last call, that there fire's a blazing moon rising son,

Good Ol' Red:

That's a Blue Red Devil with a twist, boy, watch where you spittin',
spittoon's on the other side, did I tell you?  Billy T. Bunnlevel dropped off
some damn good Mountain Peach moonshine last night, smooooooth

Good Ol' Blue:
You did and I'm in,

Good Ol' Red:
Dig'em,

Good Ol' Blue:
How 'bout some Allman Brothers out those old speakers Red?

Good Ol' Red:
How 'bout some Cash?

Good Ol' Blue:
I got Kid Rock's new one, it's gooooood,

Good Ol' Red:
Can't go wrong with the Kid.
