 Breathe Deep This Day
Breathe deep this day if all you do
A sigh or two will help you through
A moment bad where sentiment
Has held you prisoner and hearts content

Breathe deep and know this moment now
Will make you strong and see somehow
That things this day are not as bad
As other days you once too had

Breathe deep and take another breath
For life's too short at times misled
A better you, today not so
Breathe deep, letting these things too go

Breathe deep and know someone loves you
Maybe right now all you need do
Is call and tell them nothings changed
Since last you spoke, today estranged

Breathe deep and hold if for a moment now
The smallest things you shared somehow
Will bring you where you need to be
With one your heart today does need

Breathe deep, inhale what makes your day
Their name, their voice in you that stays
For breathing them makes all things right
Today their scent, perfumed this write
