Poetic Verses

Acultured

Just as developed nations dominate developing ones in trade
This dominance in all other areas seem to invade
And notable they seem to have a great impact on no other
Than what should be their mark. and that is their culture

It is amazing the if you have to look into may home, you will see
Televisions, showing movies and this is mainly on cable TV
Unfortunately, there will be no display of any variety
Because none of the programs are one that were produced locally.

Then daily there will be playing on the radio repeatedly
Nothing but foreign music, and this is played exclusively
Therefore many of the local artistes, will complain and say
That their music in not getting any form of airplay.

Then lovely clothes in the city, the dresses worn by ladies so curvy
Displaying the lastesr fashion. looking so chic and trendy
The way they are designed. and then you look at the name brand
Would readily indicate that they too, were made in foreign land.

Some adopt that language and traits enshrined in those soap operas
This is proving to be a something that may cause some bother
As to how a supposedly well informed and impressive generation
Could so easily be victims of a form of cultural pernetration.

They have also been able to impose on them  some of their bad habits
Look how this have even impacted on what used to be a very good diet
Even down to that leisurely and sedentary form of lifestyle
This is reflected truly, on many of them by the way the fat cells pile.

How they have also developped ways the are materialistic and mercenary
So that all that is on the mind is how to benefit in a manner that is monetary
Therefore take very great care and caution is what you may say or do
As they may be waiting for the earliest opportuning to sue.

Now there is nothing wrong in see what other have to offer
But do not let it dominate. and put your culture on the back burner
This could be woking synominously with your nationlity
That would make you standout in any line for any form of identity.
