The Power of Reading
Now come here you children, take a sip from this cup of knowledge
Let its virtues invade, pervade and permeate that mind's passage
Let yourself be amazed and stimulated, by its boundless power
That will left a feeling in you of one getting more self assured.
However that will enpower you, not to be satisfied with just a sip
That thirst for more will, propel you to take a further bit
There will be sure a titillation, setting you mind aglow
Setting you thoughts in such a pattern, of a constant flow.
Felling thisty now, you will take and bigger and longer draught
As you realise how much your base is growing, and very fast
Because as your challengesincrease, there is that need for information
And there are now many posers, which need annswers, and solutions.
In no time you will be amzed at how those skills were developped so quickly
As you drink deeper, there will be that ability to think logically
Listening to other opinions, and offering your own in response
Being able to engage in conversation, on anythig in any instance.
Would be blessed with that ability, to look at any piece of writing
And decipher on which road the author, by his approach was taking
Also if there is that opportunity, to be watching a movie
Will unravel, the theme and the plot almost instantaneously.
Then on those moments when you are listening to or present at a speech
Can tell by the orator's, use of voice tones and appeals, whome he wanted to reach.
And when the time come to pose any sort of questions
Would ask those that will make the orator, appear grounded in erudition.
So therefore, to not think that there is not need to read
Doing this will cultivate some very inportant life's seeds
And over time reading more and going deeper as this is the fertiliser
That will be important in your life, as it may make living even better.
