PECAN PIES AND SNOWFLAKES

PECAN PIES AND SNOWFLAKES

Remembering Christmas

Pecan pies and chestnuts roasting
Snow flakes falling on a chilly eve

A star shining on top of the tree
Iridescent bulbs doing a bubbling
dance in color for all to see

Giggles from children behind  closed doors
whispering secrets - laughing with glee

A turkey in the oven - basting brown for dinner
Cranberry sauce in a crystal bowl
China and sterling set for dinning

Holly and mistletoe on the mantle
A poinsettia by the door
set there to decorate the floor

Joy is in the air
as we bow our heads in prayer
for the wonderful season and for believers everywhere

Luke 2:11   The Holy Bible   King James Version
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord.

A MERRY AND BLESSED CHRISTMAS TO EACH OF YOU
