3 years ago, I was ‘saved' from hell,
And now I'll go to heaven, yes I will!
Cos being saved is only from Christ Himself,
Cos you can't be ‘saved' with a pill!!
So I now look to a future everlasting,
Cos I'm not in the dark, but in the light!
And so on my demise I don't have to worry,
Because I know the goal that's in my sight!
The goal being that I'll be with Christ,
And my new life will be pain free,
Cos there is no nasty in life everlasting,
You can take that fact from me!
I may be in a body that badly messed up,
But I know God is on my side so you see!
I can take what's dished out, and I do,
Cos the LORD has set me free!!!
I hope you; who read the words that I've written...
...Will also get a grip and be saved from hell,
And I jest you not, and I tell you true,
Once saved your heart will swell!
And you won't be afraid of death!
Trust me, cos it changes you inside,
No need to worry, no need to fret,
No need to run and hide!
Cos you are in the sight of the LORD,
He sees every move you make,
And wants you to be saved like me,
So your eternal life won't be at stake!
I never thought I could feel like I do,
Calm inside and no hate at all!
Totally different to what I was like!
And that's since I got the call!!
God called out to me, and I heard,
And listened to what He said,
So now I live a happy life on earth,
And am no longer afraid of being dead!
