Death may take my life
Death may take my life
But it will not take my soul
For I have Jesus Christ
And my body He'll make whole
I may suffer pain
But I know that it won't last
For in my Savior's name
I'll throw away my past
For life on earth is brief
Compared to life with Christ
My Lord will give relief
And peace in paradise
I'm ready for that day
My final breath I take
For Christ's the only way
With Him I will awake
