Lies And Deceit!You think you know them inside-out, and trust in them always too, The one in your life, the one you love, but that love is sometimes never true! Lies deceit and hidden truth...! What's it all about? To put on a show, a falsehood, for your lies will always find you out! When it surfaces shock sets in! And you don't know what to do! Feelings so confused, in turmoil, tell me, what do we do? The face that is on display, it seems, is false, hollow and shallow, And therein lies a pain so deep, and a heart, squashed like mallow! You're in a fog, a sea of mist, and can't see the path ahead, Running blind, in so much pain, and wishing you were dead! Lies and deceit, deceit and lies, your head is up the wall, You don't know what to do, you don't know who to call! You're in a mess, don't know what to do, and your head is in so much pain, Lies and deceit…untruths too, what is there for them to gain? Pain, that's what the outcome is, pain, fear and strife… And a battle to fight, one out of sight, but threatening your very life! You can't always see ahead of you, what is right under your nose! And you can never be sure of a person who perceives to be a gentle red rose! For within the rose are million thorns, and each thorn a pain in the heart, The truth is out, no more lies and deceit…and you're left with a broken heart! The pain and fear insurmountable, feelings riding high… A pain in the heart beyond all words…And the question you ask…is why? Why did he hide what was so important? And why the games he played with the heart? Why, oh why did he cause such grief? And why did he think we wouldn't part? Lies and deceit, deceit and lies…are the ingredients of pain and strife, An abundance of tears, a broken heart, and a very unhappy life! Russian roulette they call it, a deadly game of sin… So cruel and so humiliating, a game that you can never win! Why the lies, why hide the truth? The real person, not the false on show! Behind an evil mask they lurk…and it's only them who know! The truth is out, the game is over, but the game of chance still yet to be played, And all because of a hurtful man, who's selfishness couldn't be stayed! Out on a limb, in shock and confused, you can't understand the reasons why… A person who loves you so very much, would cause pain through deceit and a lie! Beware your lies will find you out, what was your game, your end goal? For all you did was break a good heart…and leave that person feeling un-whole! No-one can ever be trusted…for trust is abused time and again, But beware your lies will find out! And the reasons why you caused pain! Selfishness, that's what it is, to cause so much heartache and pain…! A pain so great, in a trusting heart…tell me, what was their gain? Their gain was our downfall…and the road to lots more pain… And the one who cause the hurting…will do it over and over again! Lies and deceit, deceit and lies, beware they will be found out, And the repercussions aren't always nice, be not in any doubt! The Truth Will Set You Free! Try It, You Might Like It!
