My Angel Of The Night…You are my guardian Angel, And as lay me down to sleep... You hover and protect me, As into my mind you creep. And should I awaken scared, You will cuddle me so tight, So once more I'll drift to sleep, As you protect me from the night. If I shiver from the cold, You'll lay a blanket so warm, Wrapping your wings around me, To protect me from any harm! If I thirst you will quench it, By sprinkling my lips so sweet, And protect me once again, As you settle near my feet.
