My Angel Of The Night…You are my guardian Angel, And as I lay me down to sleep… You hover and protect me… As into my mind you creep. And should I awaken scared, You will cuddle me so tight, So once more I will drift to sleep, As you protect me from the night! If I shiver from the cold, You'll lay a blanket so warm, Wrapping your wing around me, To protect me from any harm! If I thirst you will quench it, By sprinkling my lips so sweet, And protect me once again, As you settle near my feet! And if my breathing stops…!
