 LAST OF DAYS

LAST OF DAYS

Here I stand facing the valley of no choice, the last of days
My eyes, I force them toward the horizon where I witness truth
I plant a steady footing for a ravenous wind is about to hit me
How it does rise before me, like a stallion on his hindquarters

Fright and tears commence from my heart and my soul, for I see!
Among-st the muck, dirt and filth, come riding the Four Horsemen!
Never such an evil have I ever seen, eye to eye, our fate awaits
Humanity must face what comes before them, their own "W A S T E"

Riding hard with the fires of HELL burning everything in their way
Marking the day to forever night in slim of the foulest of stenches
I'm battling the forces of "Man's Inhumanity to Man", hot is the air
Near me fall the men, women and what was our future for this planet

"INNOCENT CHILDREN" who knew not the danger of playing war games
I scream a bloody scream,"Take a deep breath you Sons-of-Bitches"
Now walk into Mother's Once Dream Kitchen, and VOMIT TRAGEDY ANEW!
I remember being blown backwards, feeling my bones snapping within

That is after I see, smell and feel my flesh boiling from my body
All this in an instant as I am slammed against Future's Invitation
There was a split second of "PEACE", then a nothingness, nothing...
During our demise, an army of "Bloody Shadows", marched in unison

Sloth strangled Envy, slashing Greed and Lust, beheading gluttony
He was ill prepared for his demise landed him in the arms of Death
The Dark Angel's lies! Running a steeple chase for a perverse prize
The question to answer, who would be first to "RAPE" the world today?

Man no longer exist, no wild beasts nor any creatures survive Earth
Ride the "Mushroom Heights", to the "Old Men" who declared annihilation!
I cried blood, looking up to the sky from my own valley of decision
Screaming,"DEAR GOD NO!" forming was a Prophylactic Crematorium of Fire

No longer to see, "Good Morning Star-shine,the Earth says Hello!"
What remains? A trillion piece puzzle, scattered across the Universe
And I see Ravenous wild animal looking for left over table-scrapes
I am but a gasp endlessly floating, waiting for my turn to become...

Death dismounted the Steed long enough to gather his bounty of souls
He reaches out into the dust with his skeleton hand filtering for souls
Looking back I see a fractured Earth encased in a hellish ball of fire
Then from the core of a once blue world, a mega explosion, a shock-wave!
