Sometimes I forget
That other people
Can't see
Or understand
The world
I walk through
With ease
Everyday.
Sometimes
The worlds I walk
Through are frightening
To those that
Accidentally stumble
Through what
Is normal
To me.
I forget
Until I
Remember.
I forget they can't
See the colors I see,
Swimming patterns
Of the living
Moving,
Undulating,
Grainy photograph,
The living air
I see every day,
I see the invisible
Where people
Walk through
A sea of energies,
The fish are
Unaware of
Swimming in
The ocean.
Just because
You can't
See them,
Doesn't mean
They aren't there.
There are worlds
Laying over top
And underneath,
In between
Ours.
Sometimes they
Are close enough
To interact with one
Another,
And this can
Be a frightening
Concept
To people who
Like things
To be solid,
Black and white,
Because the world
We live in
Rarely is
So simple,
Unless we
Live simply.
The bodiless
Often see us
As lights
In the darkness
And some
Here are as
Dark as it is
There.
Those who shine
Seem like
Heaven shining
In the darkness,
Who have not
Gone on
To where
They belong.
I forget
Not everyone
Knows this
Bodiless world
And how we
Affect one another
Until
Objects are flying,
Things are catching fire,
And camera's
Are catching
Images
No one can
Rightly explain.
I forget
Not everyone
Knows what's
Going on.
For most
The world is
Complicated enough,
So I forget
The other worlds
Until they come
Crashing into
This one
Sinking someone's
Titanic
Punching holes
Into their
Hull of understanding.
Then the
Universe taps me
Asking to help
Because I have
A foot in both
Worlds,
And I go
As I am
Called.
