We must Care
How do we measure a person's state of progress?
Is it that we use the quantity of material things they possess?
Perhaps that may be the only thing that is visible
But a loan or even hire purchase, could have made that possible.
Maybe this could be a major factor in this economic crisis
As many live in delusions of grandeur, or in a false premise
Neither taking any precaution, nor heed that warning light
Because it has been prove many time, most things are finite.
How many places today, can boast that it has clean air
Not having too many industries, to pollute the atmosphere
And to add something alarming to the growing problem
Lots of members of the useful population, have allergic reactions.
As those land for agriculture are now become more decimated
The world's growing population still has to be fed
So biotechnology, herbicides, pesticides and nutrients, are employed
Which in due time find a way back to the drinking water to reside.
Look at that lake water so calm and so beautiful
See the bird enjoying the fish as they are now so plentiful
Perhaps some year later, it may be faced with a different situation
Converted to a marshy ground, falling victim to eutrophication.
Sometimes we too as people seem not to or show mo care
Some will drive many a mile, to deposit their garbage elsewhere
Not caring who or what will be plague with their problem
So long as it was not going to effect them.
How long are we going to continue on this needless destruction
To a place that we should have respect, and form an association
Because nothing is as important, to be in synergy
And for the environment have respect and have compatibility.
Each time something is introduced to make life better
Remember it also has inherent some measure of danger
Always approach each development, look for information and for education
Apply some measure of safety, and do not abuse its application.
