Everyone wants
The magickal
And blessed life
Where things
Come easily
Effortlessly
Or something
Like that,
Or so we say…
But wanting,
Desiring,
And feeling
Or knowing
We are worthy
Of it
Is another thing
Entirely.
So first
I thought
I needed
To be
Educated,
& my education
Informed me
That it was
A lie,
That I wasn't
Enough.
I thought
I needed
To have
Money,
& after
Living so long
With resources
I found that
There was
This thing
Called
“More than I can
Imagine.”
After running
So hard
For so long
With so little,
I needed rest
If only,
If only
My body
Would carry me
Just a little bit
Further,
& so it
Did.
Then I slept.
I rested.
Knowing
That all
I had become
Accustomed to
Was to be
Changed,
Including
Myself.
Rather than
Thinking about
All that stood
In my way,
The insurmountable
Odds,
As they
Were…
Instead…
I was opened
By my
Beloved
Of Beloveds,
To the possibilities
Beyond what
I could imagine.
Most imagine
A job,
So they could have
Money,
So they could have
The home
& the car,
So they could have
Vacations,
Medical care,
Family,
Or any other
Thing they
Desired.
But when
You are open
To the possibilities
With the end
In mind,
The how's
Become the ways
Those who become
Inspired by your
Vision
Wish to contribute
To you.
We only need
To have
The grace
To accept
The generosity
Of what is possible,
Remembering
We are worthy
Of it.
