My friend you are a poet,
i truly hope you know it.
Your words leap off the paper,
and jump right into my heart kind sir.
You talk of things from your heart,
your talent is off the chart.
For taking the time to share,
i wanted you to know i care.
I'm honored you came into my parlor,
don't stop writing i'll scream and holler.
Thank you also for your kind praise,
it helps lift me out of dry spell days.
For when i have writer's block,
your praise makes my pen wanna rock.
Your energy can really shine,
oh jarid i'm glad you are a friend of mine.
You make me wanna growl and roar,
but hard to do when i don't even snore.
Scream and holler tho i could do,
if poetrypoem didn't have you.
May gave us a jewel of an emerald true,
emerald city has nothin on you!
