Always time for Valentine
Should it be considered an act of being mercenary
The way in which all of the popular festivities
Businesses have now use their collective abilities
To find another way to raise their profitability
As always they engage in bargaining so competitively
Appealing to the customer's taste and fancy
So therefore this would be firmly on the mind
When making a choice for purchasing in the season of Valentine.
Like most activities, shoppers do get caught in the spirit
Some even extending themselves, beyond a certain limit
Hoping that by giving that someone, something expensive and tangible
This will be the proof, that the intentions are quite credible.
Purchasing those gifts of diamond other of gold
Of such sparkle and even lustre to behold
Other will not matter, to that one even deliver
A gift which has a generous proportion of silver
In some cases there are other who will be totally in tune
With all those fragrances of the latest brands of perfume
Carefully questioning and testing and comparing the aroma
Hoping that the one selected, will be worthy for that hour.
Whilst there are some who will only accept from that lover
Nothing more than a fragrant bouquet of roses or flowers
Watering them, being captivated as the aroma of those roses
Send such a stimulating scent to their noses.
Some would always be the ones who would advocate
That for them nothing is better than some chocolate
And again some would say, that for them this is the time
That for them to unwind, nothing is better than a glass of red wine.
But not matter you inclination, or preference
Always have foremost in that mind's presence
That no matter that day, or the time of the year
When in love, each day is one for Valentine, so be sincere.
