'' Don't Wait Till Tomorrow Do It Today ''
As innocent people are being killed,
cemeteries on both sides are being filled,
is anyone really asking why,
all these innocent people need to die.
There is no point in apportioning blame,
to the people who kill it's all just a game,
you kill us then we'll kill you,
be you Israelite, Palestinian Muslim or Jew.
The murderers don't care who lives or dies,
they revel in the deaths as a mother cries,
in morals and conscience they must be devoid,
as they watch their parents see their families destroyed.
If only their God could make them see sense,
what he sees both sides doing causes him great offence,
but he gave us the knowledge to know killing's wrong,
it's up to their leaders to show they are strong.
Let them say to their people this conflict must cease,
we must come together to achieve lasting peace,
our Gods will is we all must respect one another,
if we do we can live as sister and brother.
It may sound simplistic but it is a fact,
if the killing stopped both sides would react,
wars are futile, nobody wins,
dialogue is where you find peace begins.
First you must see there's a need to debate,
why is this happening what is it you hate,
the murder and mayhem increases your woe,
the people who are dying you probably don't know.
What gives you the right to destroy peoples lives,
be it children or parents, husbands or wives,
regardless of who is firing that shell,
Your God says for murder you will go to hell.
Israel and Palestine living as one,
it's not just a dream it can be done,
it is not as impossible as it seems,
but it would take both sides to achieve these dreams.
There will always be rogues who don't want to be friends,
if you root out these terrorists the message that sends,
is that where there's a will there is always a way,
