Sweet memories thou hast touched my spirit
These eyes carry a rage of unspoken miseries
Days hast quicken and still give wake to thee
My heart soars like the Lark in search of another
Days of wine and roses still linger in my mind
Carry not thee my woe, instead hold my hand
Walk in summer's symphony amongst the willows
Feel the breeze that spun golden dreams for thee
How will the days mark my loss in its shackles?
Brake free of this heartbreak that consumes me
My ever flow of rivers wandering will mark dear
It will take thee to Heaven's Gate for my beloved
Thus take thy gray skies and know sunshine dwells
Find thy way through tunnels marked in ambrosia
Thus its sweet wine lightens thy heavy load again
I rest this heavy heart on scarlet silk and cream lace
If God would lighten thy veil of burden so you can see
Thy favorite blossoms of the Wisteria Vine so sweet
Heavy in fragrance divine where the lark gives flight
For thee to gather and lie upon thy midnight marble.
