*THIS IS NOT A REAL LIFE SITUATION BETWEEN THE TWO POETS
WHO HAVE WRITTEN THIS SCENARIO. SORRY...LOL!
A POETESS WITHOUT COURAGE
Poetess, where did you find the written words?
That was needed to be heard in haste?
Where did you find the emotions spoken?
Was the strength you found worth it all?
These words always flow freely from my heart
Never in haste but always with great thought
My emotions spring from what life does impart
Strengthening and relieving what may hurt your heart
Poetess, where did you find the written words?
Shall all you write be transferred in song?
Do melodies hide the pain where words sit?
Am I to sing your words loud and clear?
These words always flow freely from my heart
The melody of my words can ably to stand alone
And relieve the pain that may have grown
So sing the melody or the chorus; make it your own
Poetess, where did you find the written words?
Will your heart carry a life line to him?
Read your sonnet like the actor long ago
A "Romeo, Romeo, Where forth art thou?" I'm Not.
These words always flow freely from my heart
Hearts in love maintain strong connections
I don't understand your tone or your contention
Your attitude sounds more of rejection
Poetess, where did you find the written words?
Somewhere between yesterday and today?
You'vie written a thousand words of love
Affection that needs to be delivered by you.
These words always flow freely from my heart
Consistently each and every time I put pen to paper
I admit I feel deeply and share myself fully
I have to believe my affections stand as I have delivered
Poetess, where did you find the written words?
For those who read what you request
May find you lazy, maybe weak in the knees
Might even say you have come to lack courage.
These words always flow freely from my heart
So how could my readers find me lazy or weak
Could it be my dear friend, that courage is what YOU seek?
Or could it be that the problem is with you and not me?
You have written, now you should speak!
Yes, I've written, but maybe it's you who should speak
For you should speak now or for ever hold your peace!
