In Conversation
So many were the case before
So little are what use to soar
A simple heart that misses you
Since last we spoke and fond adieu
Laughter yours becomes this day
A moment mine hearing you say
You are well as time will come
To hang up, click now we're done
In conversation we would connect
On just one thing that still is left
I say I miss you, your reply
I miss you too, before goodbye
Purpose who knows but it felt good
To ride the wave of we could
Though things have changed time does allow
For us to be, to share somehow
Simply put without the strings
Attached to one yet you would bring
Peace of mind before things go
Back to normal, wishing not so
These brief chats allow to steal
Unhampered thoughts of how I feel
To breathe again what use to be
A scent of life, of you in me
Though once again I must return
From where I came I've also learned
That missing you is just the norm
The calm in me before the storm
