People's Power
The people must understand that they have power
This should not stop after elections are over
They have that right to show their dissatisfaction
When not is favor of a particular situation.
Recently we saw that put to such good effect
When that was demonstrate aptly in the country of Egypt
Resulting in the president who was in control for decades
On their behest, had to make his exit from the stage.
Yes of course there was some damage and destruction
But one expects this to happy on such an occasion
Even though the leader was defiant, and indeed resisted
Under that power encompassed in the people recanted.
Well one can see that great people's power
Which certainly got stronger by the hour
Standing firm to their commitment, with such intensity
That their leader had no choice but to respond favorably.
This resignation was met with such great jubilation
The news was greeted by such cheers throughout the nation
As the inhabitants express, that relief and are so please
That being a united force has brought a leader to his knees.
Perhaps this success may cause a bit of agitation
Stiring up the people of those countries in that region
Who too may want a change of government and system
By exercising that people's power, nothing is beyond them.
