Wrong Again
You said we were one
your love til the end
I believed it so
but I was wrong again.
You betrayed me in
the worst of ways
You've left me to wonder
for too many days
Everyone said 'Oh he will return'
My heart ever asking 'Yeah, but when'
I wanted to believe... I held hope so long
and I found I was wrong again.
To rid this heart
of the pain and longing
I can't look back
that's not where I'm going
I was sure he would be back
at least as my friend
But alas I have to admit
I was wrong again.
