Weavers of Words
Come, take part and bring to us
Your inner self, your heart a must
Adorn a page a part of you
Of secret love or your break through
Of life you lead, maybe misled
Of childhood years to us spoon fed
Of thoughts that cause to scratch our head
Maybe deep cause to have you read
Like portrait without paint come weave
With words your own where you believe
Can touch someone that feels the same
Relieving them of heartfelt pain
Bring your smile to adorn face
A noun or two to take the place
Of frown theirs or maybe yours
Invite us in to take a tour
Color scheme our world today
Grace a page of things prayed
For someone close or one unknown
Making them feel they're not alone
A chance to dine by candle light
Feast off words giving them sight
Of things to come by your presence
Putting a dent on things unpleasant
Your words will impact someone here
Who kept or keep drowning in tears
A passage birthed of mind your own
Could be the pill or seed now sown
Bring laughter or too a cry
Much needed in someone who tries
To fit in from out of place
With words you weave sought out embrace
A verbal salute to all upon this site
May you be blessed this day if just
in words
