The Creation Shines
As the heavens declare,
The glory of the Lord;
We can marvel and share,
What His hands have assured.
One day tells a story,
Which is unto the next;
To preserve His glory,
That may seem do perplexed.
One night shares as it knows,
Without saying a word;
To the next night that shows,
Without voice being heard.
Yet their message has gone,
To the ends of the earth;
Until the break of dawn,
When the light shows its worth.
He has set up a tent,
As a place for the sun;
To rest is the intent,
When the day has begun.
It comes out of the room,
As a boxer to fight;
Sort of like a bridegroom,
That is brilliant and bright.
It rises from one end,
As it circles around;
Warming you like a friend,
But not making a sound.
In the end it will hide,
Making way for the moon;
As warming will subside,
A new light will commune.
