Not Just Another Sunday
Purpose yours who woke this day
With breath, some health who seeks a way
To rise above all circumstance
To know of GOD of second chance
Today Sunday not just another
But more Son day sisters and brothers
Moment yours to share of wealth
Beyond carnal and money belt
Wiser we'd be if we just read
A page of His, morsel spoon fed
To find purpose, maybe just why
We are not here to live and die
We came to be to spread His news
From where we stand not just church pews
To give substance in spirit form
To change a life, one more reborn
This world of hurt has no remorse
For anyone whose charted course
Dictates the road but not His way
Further the path we go astray
Today maybe between each breath
A thought, The Cross where sin met death
Will come to mind if you believe
In He who knows of hearts deceived
Maybe today not just another
Mundane a life that walks smothered
In all but love, unchanging love
