Night life's a bliss
Nothing goes a miss
Doom is at sight
Evil lurks at night
Paint it black not
Our worst comes alight
On darkest of night
Mischief we will seek
Chants we will speak
Paint it black not
Let us be gay
For its no day
No one to see
For what we be
Paint it black not
Priest cast your robe
For its time to rob
A penny for heaven
Can bring us haven
Paint it black not
Child kill your child
For the night is wild
An easy way out
No hint of doubt
Paint it black not
Get a quick fix
No need to mix
Time to get high
Live a little lie
Paint it black not
Kill we really will
For we know not will
There's poetry in death
So why foster health

Paint the town red
For sin is bred
So is blood shed
For there's no dread
