 Worse
Walking in the cold
With the rain holding me accursed
My face is frozen
But I've been through worse

Throw me to the ground
And kick me around
Break my courage
Then stand tall and proud

Beaten for laughter
Watch me shatter
Down like falling glass
But what do I matter?

Turn my wool black
And leave me forever
With no ego or conscience
To tell me it will get better

I stand tall and walk in the rain
And let the tears clash with water
At least no one can see my pain
Though can hear if you get closer
Even though I am broken
And told that nothing is my worth
At least I can say
I've been through worse
